The Texas Fahrten Recording, 1986, is a 7-inch reel tape recording of a 1986 performance of Hermann Seele's and C. Wilke's 19th-century musical drama Texas Fahrten, which translates as Travels in Texas and contains English narration and German songs. The performance is from the Texas Sesquicentennial celebrations in New Braunfels, Texas, and includes an introduction by Theodore Gish.

Born to Jonas and Anna (Runge) Seele, Friedrich Hermann Seele (1823-1902) immigrated from Hildesheim, Germany, to Galveston, Texas, in 1843.
